Whistler Snowcat Adventure Winter Wedding

February 14, 2021

**All photos were shot for Beautiful Life Studios**

Like many couples this year and last year, these two had to deal with tight Covid restrictions and wedding planning headaches. As a result they decided to have a small wedding on their original date by cutting their wedding party to under 10 people. They changed their original venue to this EPIC mountain location and I can’t believe how beautiful it turned out to be! Even though it was not the wedding they had originally dreamed of, this one was still able to create beautiful memories that they can cherish always!

We took a 15-20min Snowcat trip up the mountain. The Snowcat was supplied with cozy blankets to keep us warm during the commute! Once we got to the top we decided to do the ceremony on the top of the hill overlooking the mountains.

After the ceremony everyone had some champagne as the bride's father made a toast to the newly wedded couple.

Following the speeches the couple had their first dance on the snow! We were so lucky because the sun starting peaking out from the trees! After their first dance they had a special father/daughter and mother/son dance.

After the dances and family photos, the Snowcat Operator offered to take us all to a second location that was next to a frozen river. Of course we had to go!!

The second location was definitely colder than the last but the photos made it worth it!

When it was time go, we made our way back down the mountain and then drove to a frozen lake to take a few more photos with some friends that weren’t able to go to the ceremony <3

It was such a beautiful day and I enjoyed every minute of it! I can’t wait to see what other unique weddings I’ll be able to capture this year!! xox
